Chris Christie won't be WH Chief of Staff

Let’s just say that Chris Christie should not be encouraged. Indeed moving in the opposite direction from Chris Christie, a big government nanny state Republican if there ever was one, is generally a wise move. Christie made the move for us and we thank him for that.

It could have been worse. Christie was once floated for the new Attorney General job. That would have been a very bad idea.

(From Bloomberg)
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said he’s asked Donald Trump not to consider him as chief of staff, according to a statement tweeted by a New York Times reporter.
Christie had been Trump’s leading candidate as the president considers a successor to John Kelly, according to two people familiar with the matter. Instead, he would become the latest person to turn down one of the most powerful jobs in Washington.

Life is better on the beach than as White House Chief of Staff. We can't blame the former governor.
