Obamacare ruled unconstitutional

This comes right in the middle of open enrollment.

Obamacare is a deeply flawed, likely fatally flawed, piece of legislation. It is and was a crony law that was written in large part by the pharmaceutical companies, the insurance companies, and other parts of the healthcare industry. Obamacare is the bastard lovechild of the Obama big government behavioral economist central planners and the healthcare industry lobbyists. It should die.

Saying this, probably the biggest domestic policy mistake made by the GOP of the last 10 years was its lack of an alternative to Obamacare.

Any new 'solution' MUST address pre-existing conditions, and must at the same time be radically more market oriented. Transparency is key.

(From Fox News)
“Obamacare has been struck down by a highly respected judge," White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.
"The judge’s decision vindicates President Trump’s position that Obamacare is unconstitutional," Sanders continued. "Once again, the President calls on Congress to replace Obamacare and act to protect people with preexisting conditions and provide Americans with quality affordable healthcare. We expect this ruling will be appealed to the Supreme Court. Pending the appeal process, the law remains in place.”

Perhaps one of the areas where the Dems have lost the most ground in recent years is in the judiciary. We'll see in the weeks, months, and years to come the degree to which this is true.
