Operation get Bernie: Sanders 2016 adviser accused of forcibly kissing subordinate
Updated: Jan 11, 2019
Many radical feminists blame Bernie Sanders for Hillary Clinton's loss as much as they blame Donald Trump. How dare that old white man challenge the feminiarchy? It was Hillary's turn! What, what, and people like him better? Well that's just institutional misogyny - or something.
Now the fans of Senator Warren (but not just fans of Warren) are worried that Bernie Sanders might screw up their chances of putting Trump in his place (they hope, maybe this time). They want to believe that a radical feminist agenda has broad appeal and that come what may women will rise up and support broad abortion rights, extended affirmative action for professional (mostly white) women, you know, and making the men they hate feel their wrath.
And when I say that many women (definitely not ALL women) within the Democratic Party HATE men, I mean it. I'm not being over the top to make a point. There is real flat out HATE for men in parts of the Democratic Party particularly. That's one of the reasons the radical feminist wing so wants to pin so called "misogyny" on every man who doesn't bow to their politically correct worldview. This wing seems to despise every man who embraces his role as a leader.
There are many women who resent motherhood, and the family, and reality, but most of all men. This is a fact. And this narrow band of the electorate is scared that Bernie Sanders could keep the feminists from attaining the goal of the presidency, again. This is likely why this particular story is being floated right now. Warren is stumbling already so the internecine war begins in earnest early. That this story is being used now really points to how much this wing fears Bernie.
Of course this is not to dismiss the accusations. If they are real then they deserve a hearing. But why now?
“Candidates who allow people like Robert Becker to lead their organizations shouldn't earn the highest office in our government,” said the woman, who was granted anonymity because she feared retaliation from supporters of Sanders and Becker, who has a loyal following of his own.
“It just really sucks because no one ever held him accountable and he kept pushing and pushing and seeing how much he could get away with. This can’t happen in 2020. You can’t run for President of the United States unless you acknowledge that every campaign demands a safe work environment for every employee and volunteer.”
So there you have it. The argument will be, how can you support Bernie Sanders, that man, a man who had a monster on his staff? #Metoo and so on. This is about establishing a certain narrative early. It is about marginalizing Bernie Sanders. It doesn't at least at this point appear to be about anything that looks like justice.
If anything, at this point, it looks like the opposite.
Saying that, if the guy acted like a pig he deserves to feel some heat. However, as we asked above, why now?
And consider that we abhor Mr. Sanders's economics.
Still the PC brigades, even when they target an avowed "socialist" who is against much of what this website stands for, need to be held to account. They can't be allowed to roam the political landscape without being called out. They've been allowed to do what they want for too long. It's 2019 now. Times have changed.
