There is voter fraud, we all know it, 9 charged with felonies in Los Angeles
One of the talking points one hears over and over and over is that "there is no voter fraud". No need to concern ourselves. No way that fake people, dead people, people who don't have the right to vote, and people who sell their vote, are voting and perhaps voting more than once. No way. It's all some fever dream concocted by Fox News to scare "Republicans". That's why voter id laws are "voter supression." Why have such laws if the problem doesn't exist?
Now whether one should vote or not is a legitimate point of debate, but whether there is voter fraud or not really isn't. It happens and probably happens more than many would like to admit. And by "many" we mean the people who benefit from voter fraud and machine politics.
Los Angeles County prosecutors have charged nine people with felonies alleging they offered money and cigarettes to homeless people on LA's Skid Row in exchange for false and forged signatures on ballot petitions and voter registration forms.
The office of District Attorney Jackie Lacey says in a statement Tuesday the alleged offenses occurred during the 2016 and 2018 election cycles.
See, never happens.
