Trump retweets image of Obama, Clinton, Holder behind bars for “treason”

Trump is not a subtle guy. Nuance is not his thing, at least in many respects. That he shared this meme, that a president of the United States shared this tweet, is a throw down.

I can almost hear the howls from Washington here in the Virginia Piedmont. At this moment pearls are being clutched all over social media. Alissa Milano is pacing her Hollywood Hills house in rage, iPhone in hand. Orange Man has struck again.

And Trump’s not totally out of bounds here. Yes, this is over the top. Yes, we probably would not have retweeted the meme. But his point is valid. Mueller’s been doing his thing for 2 years and seems to be dismissing what we know happened at the FBI and other places in the wake of Trump’s election. There seems to be no interest in that side of the story, arguably the most important part of the story. That Mueller and Comey are friends we are sure has nothing to do with this blind eye. We are sure that Mueller only wants the “truth”.

Perhaps Mueller’s report will prove “devastating” as Alan Dershowitz said it might. But Dershowitz also said that it was unlikely to entail criminal charges.

No doubt Mueller will take his best shot and it will be calculated in every respect to create as much chaos for the President as possible. (And sadly for the country.)

If there’s a THERE there then so be it. If there is something for Trump answer for that falls within the scope of the investigation then even if Mueller is hopelessly biased, we should know what if anything happened. However if there is no THERE there, and if the Mueller report simply seeks to embarrass and harass, and if it does not discuss the actions of Brennen, Clapper, Clinton and company in the wake of and leading up to the election, then the American people should have a serious beef with Mueller and the Democrats.

President Trump on Wednesday morning shared an image calling for his opponents to face trial for "treason," with many of them behind bars.
The image, which the president retweeted from a pro-Trump Twitter account, depicts a host of figures Trump has criticized, including former President Obama, 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, special counsel Robert Mueller, former FBI Director James Comey and former President Bill Clinton
